Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join their Business Team. This candidate will act as first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Your solutions will impact the customers directly! Contract Duration: 10-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension Required Skills & Experience 2–5 years of professional software development experience Strong hands-on experience Perl, C/C++ and/or Java Experience with Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX. What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities Developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA) Improving our systems that gather metrics on our features Updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges.
