Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology (EP) Tech is responsible for supporting cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a high-volume clinical setting. This role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting with complex EP cases, and ensuring optimal operational performance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain instrumentation and supplies for EP procedures.
• Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures.
• Monitor patient status and device functionality throughout interventions.
• Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, including BLS and ACLS standards.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed case records.
• Stay current with evolving EP technologies and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of experience as an EP Tech.
• Possess RCIS or RCES certification.
• Be certified in BLS and ACLS at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate expertise in left bundle pacing, Watchman devices, pulsed field ablation, and leadless devices.
• Exhibit proficiency in preparing for and assisting with complex EP cases.
• Possess strong interpersonal and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
