Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and artistic High Esthetic Dental Ceramist to join our growing laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who excels in anterior esthetics, complex restorative cases, and high-end cosmetic dentistry. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple cases while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

This role requires a technician who can anticipate workflow demands, prepare for upcoming cases, and contribute wherever needed to support team success. Leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and a team-first mentality are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate highly esthetic anterior restorations with exceptional attention to detail.
• Perform custom shading, staining, glazing, and characterization of restorations.
• Select appropriate restorative materials based on esthetic and functional requirements.
• Design and mill restorations utilizing digital workflows when needed.
• Wax and contour anterior restorations to achieve natural morphology and esthetics.
• Complete finishing and layering of:
• E.max restorations
• Zirconia restorations
• Implant-supported restorations
• Large bridge cases
• Work on complex cosmetic cases, including smile makeovers and highly visible anterior restorations.
• Support full-arch implant restorations, including All-on-X and full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
• Review case schedules and proactively prepare for upcoming work to ensure efficient turnaround times.
• Collaborate closely with CAD/CAM, implant, and production teams to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Assist in troubleshooting cases and provide guidance to less experienced technicians when appropriate.
• Step into various production areas as needed to support laboratory workflow and productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Dental Ceramist or High Esthetic Ceramist.
• Strong background in anterior esthetic restorations and cosmetic dentistry.
• Experience with:
• Custom shading and characterization
• Stain and glaze techniques
• E.max restorations
• Zirconia restorations
• Large bridgework
• Implant restorations
• Full-arch All-on-X cases
• Ability to design and mill restorations using digital dental workflows.
• Skilled in anterior waxing and contour development.
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, esthetics, and material selection.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and anticipate future production needs.
• Team-oriented mindset with leadership potential and a willingness to assist across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3Shape and/or Exocad.
• Experience collaborating with clinicians on complex cosmetic and implant cases.
• Knowledge of advanced ceramic layering techniques.
