Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a focus on inpatient rehabilitation, based in Fairmont, West Virginia. This travel assignment starts on 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks in a long-term care setting that provides inpatient rehab services. Weekly pay ranges from $1,601 to $1,651, with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 08:00–16:30. Responsibilities
- Implement and deliver OT services to adult inpatients under rehabilitation plans, supporting goals for functional independence
- Assess patient function, establish measurable treatment goals, and adjust therapy plans in collaboration with the OT team
- Conduct individualized and group therapy sessions focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, balance, strength, range of motion, and adaptive equipment training
- Document progress clearly in the medical record and participate in daily interdisciplinary communication and rounds
- Support discharge planning, patient and caregiver education, and home safety recommendations to facilitate safe transition
- Maintain equipment, ensure therapy sessions are conducted safely, and uphold infection control and privacy policies

Requirements
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and adhere to the 08:00–16:30 schedule
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills with the rehabilitation team
- Experience or familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation concepts is preferred
- Comfortable delivering therapy in a diverse patient population and adapting approaches as needed
