Job Description

• Cultivate Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their personal functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Inform patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that promote continued progress at home.
• Monitor and Record Patient Progress: Track clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary, ensuring that patients stay aligned with their goals.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing continuing education or post-graduate certifications are actively encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
