HCS is seeking experienced Millwrights for several large industrial projects in the Gatlinburg, TN area. Qualified candidates will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery, fixtures, and other equipment according to specifications. Millwrights will transport and locate machines and equipment to the desired location according to floor plans, or as directed using fork lifts, hoists, winches, cranes and other equipment. Responsibilities:

• Rig, move, align, and install machinery.
• Install pipe and pipe fittings including cutting and threading of pipe.
• Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machines and cuts, threads, and installs new piping.
• Lays out fixtures and other plant production devices including structural supports from prints, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Initiates purchase order requests for parts, and maintains needed inventory.
• Ability to clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery
• Uses various precision and non-precision measuring, leveling, and aligning devices.
• Understands and complies with safety regulations.
• Is proficient with MIG, TIG, and stick welding in all positions.
• Operates shearing, forming, turning, and milling machinery.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Pre-Employment Screening
• Relevant Experience 2+ years
• Ability to work from layout plans, blueprints, drawings or other specifications to determine work procedures
• Ability and knowledge to dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
