Group Manager – Strategy and Analytics A leading company in medical devices offers this management position located at Austin, TX in the Neuromodulation division. The role drives market intelligence, competitive analysis and strategic decision support for neuromodulation products. Opportunity The position resides in Austin, TX and focuses on delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. Responsibilities include leading a small analytics team, communicating findings, and identifying new business opportunities. What You’ll Work On Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the neuromodulation segment. Evaluate market data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision‑making. Monitor and analyze competitor activities, product developments, and market positioning to anticipate market shifts. Deliver structured communications in written and verbal form on competitors and the category, providing insights and implications to the business. Establish and maintain high‑level relationships with key decision‑makers, industry leaders, and potential partners. Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to top executives, highlighting market opportunities and strategic initiatives. Lead initiatives to identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with the organization’s short‑ and long‑term goals. Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team with a customized coaching style. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define and execute learning needs aligned with organizational goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Minimum 8 years of strong analytical, predictive financial modeling and strategic thinking experience. Minimum 10 years in market research, business analytics, forecasting or competitive intelligence in Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals or similar industries. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Expertise in identifying data limitations, interpreting discrepancies and synthesizing data sets into compelling messages. Ability to understand and communicate business needs effectively. Strong research skills with attention to detail, logic and critical thinking. Strong people‑leadership skills; capable of managing and developing teams. Experience working with cross‑functional and global teams. Willingness to accommodate global calls and travel domestically and internationally. Preferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degree preferred.
