Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design EngineerDesign electrical subsystems for new and existing products. Develop analog and digital circuit designs. Design and test PCBs. Create custom circuit designs to support product development initiatives. Build, test, and evaluate prototypes. Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations. Support thermal design considerations during product development. Conduct risk assessments and engineering evaluations. Generate and manage ECNs. Partner with production, purchasing, sales, and marketing teams to support product performance and customer requirements. Support projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept through production release.A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years of electrical engineering experience; 8+ years preferredExperience with analog and digital circuit designStrong PCB design and prototyping experienceBackground in custom circuit designExperience performing failure analysis and troubleshootingThermal design experienceHands-on product development and manufacturing experienceStrong communication and collaboration skillsDetail-oriented with a problem-solving and root cause analysis mindsetExperience with three-phase power systems up to 400V is a plusExperience with lamp ballasts, UV lamps, or Xenon arc lamp technology is a plusCompetitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 USD.
