Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Salary: $25-$27 per hour Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed Location: Outpatient and inpatient facilities within the facility Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. As an OTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to assist in developing treatment plans and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their daily living skills and achieve their functional goals. You will have the opportunity to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing a diverse and challenging work environment. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists to provide direct patient care and assist in developing treatment plans Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills, motor skills, and functional abilities Monitor and document patients' progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Educate patients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques to improve their independence and quality of life Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development activities as required Adhere to ethical and professional standards, as well as facility policies and procedures Qualifications Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent time management and organizational skills Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and techniques Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records Physical stamina and dexterity to perform job duties effectively Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative work environment Work-life balance with flexible scheduling options State-of-the-art facilities and equipment If you are a compassionate and dedicated OTA looking for a fulfilling career opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
