JF Restaurants is seeking a passionate and experienced Barista  to join our esteemed team at Hamlin House.

About the Role:

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages in a fast-paced environment. This individual is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization at the station and adhering to beverage recipes and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with company recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure all beverages are consistently prepared to meet quality and appearance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the barista station, equipment, and service areas throughout the shift.
• Restock ingredients, cups, lids, condiments, and supplies as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels by reporting low stock or product needs to management.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including allergen protocols.
• Operate POS system accurately for guest transactions, if applicable.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training and development related to coffee knowledge and service skills.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a barista or in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
