Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, helping clients navigate their unique challenges and promote personal growth.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective care, aiming for optimal treatment outcomes.
- Provide crisis intervention support and facilitate immediate mental health support during emergencies, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported.

- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus
This role predominantly focuses on individuals experiencing mental health issues alongside co-occurring medical conditions. Patients served by our clinic may include those with chronic illnesses, physical disabilities, or significant medical histories that impact their mental health. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life through compassionate and tailored therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport with patients and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical conduct, ensuring confidentiality in all client interactions.
