We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customs Entry Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the accurate and timely entry of imported goods through customs procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and adherence to legal requirements are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit customs documentation for imported goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with freight carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth clearance processes.
- Monitor shipments throughout the transportation process, managing freight movement and tracking delivery statuses,
- Maintain detailed records of customs entries, freight documentation, and compliance reports for audit purposes.
- Assist in developing and implementing procedures for compliance management, report writing, and transportation management to optimize operational efficiency.
