Senior Implementation Engineer

Toffler Associates is looking for motivated, curious, and data‑driven individuals to join our team as Senior Implementation Engineers. Senior Implementation Engineers should have a quantitative mindset and a firm understanding of how to use technology and data to solve hard customer problems. This person will be responsible for developing new methodologies to answer client questions with company data, leveraging quantitative skills to configure company technology to achieve customer outcomes, communicating data‑driven insights to executives in the national security community, and overseeing cross‑functional teams to produce compelling program insights, data visualizations, and briefings. Essential attributes include analytical thinking, strong people skills, a drive to use technology to solve the toughest problems, business acumen, and a commitment to learning about the most pressing national security challenges and how data and machine learning can help address them. Scope Of Responsibilities Develop expertise with clients, offerings, and data, and support customers as a product and data expert Execute the successful implementation of software and data for customers and provide platform training Use coding languages (SQL, Python) to conduct technical platform configuration and data integration Build and manage client relationships Lead execution teams and/or workstreams Collaborate with Engagement Managers and Product Managers to capture market demand and user needs for inclusion into offerings Proactively drive utilization of the product using targeted training and engagement strategies that drive mission outcomes and analytical insights for platform users Develop and maintain documentation such as tailored user guide reference materials Conduct research and develop quantitative analytic reports using company technology and data Orally and visually present data‑driven findings in a concise and compelling manner to internal teams and government officials Demonstrate knowledge in areas such as US Government programs and operations, federal acquisitions and program management, government procurement practices, supplier assurance, federal contracting, PPBE, Supply Chain Risk Management, and OSINT analysis Additional Responsibilities Provide technical workflow development and configuration Communicate data‑driven insights to executives in the national security space Conduct in‑depth quantitative and qualitative analyses of problems important to the U.S. national security community using data visualization, compelling written papers, and briefings Provide product demonstrations in support of sales pursuits Mentor team members to increase skill and domain expertise Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required All qualified applicants must have a minimum of an active Secret‑level security clearance Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Security, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; OR 3–7 years of equivalent experience Required Skills Strong familiarity with SQL, Python, and/or R; familiarity with other skills such as Excel, React, Typescript, Java, C, GoLang 6–10 years of experience performing national security‑related analytics; preference for research, quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization skills Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with AI tools, concepts, and principles Excellent professional demeanor with a willingness to work outside one's comfort zone in a fast‑paced environment without hesitation Strong aptitude for solving open‑ended issues in unpredictable, unstructured environments Desired Skills Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment Master's degree in a related field 3–7 years of experience in user support or user engagement with a focus on platform and product utilization Experience in advisory services, SaaS, information services, analytic tools, or data analytics industries Demonstrated ability to conduct relevant business case studies and market analysis using internal and open‑source data sources Toffler Associates, Inc. complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding recruitment and hiring.
