OR call is taken from home, while OB call (when applicable) is in-house, with a 20-minute response time required; no post-call day off is provided. Case mix includes cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma procedures, and proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and blocks is required. The schedule consists of sporadic dates across September through December, primarily for vacation coverage, and board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment.
