The team enables personalized messaging, campaign execution, and lifecycle marketing at scale, ensuring the right members get the right message at the right time. Working in close partnership with the Marketing team, the squad also owns and evolves our marketing website — driving improvements in performance, discoverability, and search engine optimization, including leveraging AI-driven SEO strategies to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive landscape.We're looking for someone who thrives on solving hard problems, is passionate about finding innovative solutions not just for today but allowing for growth of the future, delights customers, and inspires colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain the backend code to support features used by our 5 million usersBackend development in TypescriptRegularly participate in code reviews and other team functionsProvide technical leadership and assist guiding the team's overall technical directionOffer mentorship and pair with other engineers regularlyWork closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React.js & React NativeExperience RequiredBachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or related discipline. Other majors will be considered in conjunction with appropriate related experience and/or training.4+ years of software engineering experience with building full stack applicationsStrong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skillsExperience programming in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++ or GoExperience using a modern UI framework to build user-focused interfacesEffective communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.Understand use of monitoring and metric tools.Experience working in an Agile development environment.The ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design.Proven ability to work as part of a team.Nice to HaveExperience with Node.jsExperience building production mobile applications in React NativeExperience working in a start-up environmentDon't let imposter syndrome get in the way of an incredible opportunity.
