Service Valet/Driver

Pick Up And Delivery Attendant/Porter

Capital Ford of Wilmington is hiring a pick up and delivery attendant/porter for our service department.

The pick up and delivery driver must be able to do the following on a day-to-day basis:

• Pick up and deliver vehicles to various locations all around New Hanover and surrounding counties in a safe and timely manner
• Transport and park vehicles in designated service areas
• Maintain a focus on obeying traffic laws
• Follow driving directions
• Display excellent customer service skills
• Develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers in several areas of the dealership
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner
• Assist in all other areas of the department, as needed
• Maintain high ethical standards in all actions
• Maintain a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance
• Report for work at assigned time
• Greet customers and check in vehicles

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and fairly clean driving record (no major violations)
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle *Preferred, but not required
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Positive attitude
• Background check and drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
