Our team delivers cloud-native SaaS capabilities that enable organizations to collect digital behavioral data, personalize customer experiences, and measure engagement across web and mobile channels.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented engineering team while helping shape the future of digital customer engagement. You will partner with engineers, architects, product managers, designers, and cloud operations to deliver innovative solutions while fostering modern engineering practices, AI-assisted development, and continuous improvement.As a Software Development Manager, you will:Organize, develop, prioritize, and assign resources to deliver high-quality, testable, and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to R&D best practices and processes.Lead development project designs and enforce technical standards across web, mobile, and cloud-native solutions.Collaborate with software developers, architects, designers, product managers, and cloud operations teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.Manage project scope, priorities, schedules, and delivery commitments while communicating risks and progress to stakeholders.Maintain accountability for the full software lifecycle, including development, deployment, operational excellence, and support of SaaS in production.Provide technical leadership through mentoring, coaching, talent development, and fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.Lead adoption of modern engineering practices, including cloud-native architectures, DevOps, AI-assisted engineering tools, and responsible AI-driven innovation.Be encouraged to participate in open source projects on behalf of SAS.Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability.
