The long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia, has an immediate opening for a Production Clerk. Responsibilities
- Maintains our finished inventory count, including entering data on Excel spreadsheets for both rolling mills (production and maintenance)
- Assist Supervisor with safety-related forms and processing as well as daily journal entries for both shifts on each mill
- Work outdoors in an industrial environment, which means you need to be able to work in cold weather conditions in the winter and warm weather conditions in the summer
- Required to wear all approved PPE (such as hard hat, safety glasses, and metatarsal safety boots)
- All other duties as assigned
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Successful clerical experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. and climb stairs
