Job Title: Electrician Job Description

The Electrician will plan, supervise, and perform all phases of installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and service work for industrial facilities. The Electrician will ensure that helpers are properly set up for the day and are working safely.

• Install rigid conduit ranging from 1/2'' to 4''.
• Run 50,000 feet of wire and secure it with zip ties every 2 feet in compliance with GMP guidelines.
• Pull wire through conduit.
• Bend conduit to a 45-degree angle.
• Follow and assist the lead electrician in various tasks.
• Apply mechanical skills for minor repairs and fixtures.

• 5+ years of experience working as an Electrician in commercial or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in electrical work, conduit installation, wiring, industrial troubleshooting, and commercial environments.
• Experience bending and hanging conduit and pulling wires through conduit.
• Journeyman status.

• Knowledge of schematic installation and blueprint reading.
• Experience with switchgear, lighting, construction.

The candidate will work inside industrial and commercial facilities, which may vary between cold/GMP environments or hot conditions. The job requires working from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The role necessitates wearing PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and work boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warrenville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
