Job description: Were looking for a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer to build, deploy, and operate the systems that support mission-focused software in production.Youll help improve the path from development to deployment, while ensuring operational environments are reliable, observable, secure, and maintainable. This role offers hands-on ownership across Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, and system integrations.The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and software engineering skills with the ability to solve problems in secure, operationally constrained environments.What Youll DoBuild and maintain CI/CD and release pipelines for cloud, on-premises, and deployed environmentsDeploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and DockerMonitor production systems and lead incident response to maintain high availabilityImprove system reliability, observability, and operational processesIntegrate applications and infrastructure with external systems and servicesCollaborate with researchers, software engineers, and end users to deliver reliable operational solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field3+ years of professional experienceActive TS/SCI security clearanceHands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and DockerStrong understanding of software deployment lifecycles across cloud and on-premises environmentsSoftware development experience with Java, Rust, TypeScript/React, or similar technologiesStrong software engineering and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersU.S. citizenship requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Argo CD, or similar CI/CD platformsExperience with Keycloak or comparable identity and authentication systemsExperience with Grafana, Loki, Alloy, or similar observability toolsProduction incident response experienceExperience integrating software with external systems and servicesWhy This RoleThis is a hands-on infrastructure role for an engineer who wants to work on real production systems where reliability and performance matter.
