Family Law Attorney

Position: Family Law Attorney Pay: $83,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year($43.00 - $55.00 per hour ) Job description: Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C. a mid-sized law firm with offices in Denver, Broomfield, Longmont and Loveland, has an immediate opening for a full-time associate attorney in it's Family Law practice group. The ideal candidate will play an integral role on cases from inception through trial or settlement, including client contact, drafting and responding to motions, reviewing and charting disclosures and discovery, and drafting settlement documents. We have a strong team and want someone to join us who has the patience of a saint, the work ethic of Sisyphus, and the heart of the Tin Man. Or if not those, then a good demeanor, strong sense of humor, and a willingness to try their best. Once you're established, this position is a hybrid position. You will have the option to work remotely a couple of days per week or in-office as you prefer. For this position, interpersonal skills, great writing skills, attention to detail, ability to set priorities & adapt to changes, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects are key. A knowledge of court rules and family law is helpful. This is a litigation position, so any court experience is also beneficial. Qualifications 0 - 3 years of experience JD from accredited law school A license to practice law in the State of Colorado or pending application. Experience in family law is highly desired, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective legal writing skills.
