Electrician Instrument Technician

Safety, sustainability, and exceptional service are at the core of everything we do.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Install new electronic equipment and systems and assemble components using hand toolsPerform routine maintenance and diagnose and repair electronic systems and equipment. This includes replacing parts and aligning componentsTroubleshoot complex electronic issues by analyzing symptoms and identifying problemsTest existing equipment to identify problems, calibrate sensors, and ensure systems meet quality standardsRead and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Maintain logs of equipment performance, document system changes, and generate reports on work performedWork with engineers and other technicians and may provide technical assistance to customers or other departments.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED required;Degree in Electronics Tech preferred, OR 2 years work experience industrial electronicsStrong understanding of electronic theory, components, and systems.Proficiency hand tools and soldering irons to work on small circuitryAbility to use a variety of test equipment, such as amp meters and multimetersStrong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesAbility to effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisorsSkilled in reading and understanding technical documentation, blueprints, and schematicsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smellFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsClose vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focusWORK ENVIRONMENT:Frequent exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration.The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.BENEFITS:Harcros Chemicals is 100% employee-owned, meaning you share in the company's success through our ESOP.
