Responsibilities include:Divisional leadership in achieving Nucor’s Mission through the safety and development of our team and the successful execution of the Sheet Mill Group strategy. Leading the division’s environmental activities, including environmental systems operations, permitting and compliance, relationships with state and federal environmental agencies, and community outreach.The safety, performance, and development of the Environmental team.Partnering with all departments to drive continuous improvementSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Requirements:Three years of leadership experienceEnvironmental leadership experienceExperience with environmental regulations and compliance standardsUnderstanding of baghouse and water systems operations and maintenanceMust have a General Manager recommendationSelection Criteria:Leadership Presence and Courage- Willingness and confidence to have immediate and direct conversations on critical alignment issues such as teamwork, building relationships, initiating and supporting change, and production process issues that arise.
