Travel Ultrasound Technologist - OB/GYN & Fetal Echo - $3,631 per week

Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to serve as an outreach‑based provider covering multiple clinic locations across New Mexico for a 13‑week assignment beginning 7/06/2026. The position requires 48 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (4×12 hrs), no weekend or on‑call duties, and travel between clinics in Albuquerque, Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe. Responsibilities include: Perform low and high‑level obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations at multiple outreach clinic sites. Use GE E22, GE E10, and GE S10 ultrasound equipment. Chart results in Cerner. Drive the outreach van on Tuesdays (Gallup) and Fridays (Santa Fe) and travel with a driver Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work independently as well as collaboratively within a mobile team. Maintain a professional scrub color of burgundy. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of sonography experience. ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS FE (Fetal Echo), and BLS certifications required. NM State license required (pending license acceptable). Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Completion of a safe‑driving module. COVID‑vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions accepted with provider‑signed exemption form. Must reside in Albuquerque for the duration of the assignment. Eligible candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility. Additional Information First‑time travel assignments are accepted. Requested return to duty (RTO) requests exceeding 7 days require approval. Travelers who have completed 4 consecutive assignments or reached one year of travel experience must take a 6‑month break before returning. No parking fee at the base clinic location.
