Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Utilize nursing judgment to deliver quality care based on nursing theory and evidence
• Provide, coordinate, and delegate nursing care tailored to the patient and family needs
• Manage resources efficiently to attain, maintain, and restore optimum health

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Graduate from an accredited program in professional nursing (CCNE or ACEN)
• Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
• 2+ years of recent PACU experience
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months
• 1+ year(s) of phlebotomy experience
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (if not current, must be completed within six weeks of hire)
