What You'll Do:

• Lead electrical design activities including requirements analysis, specifications, interface definition, component selection, circuit simulation, schematic capture, and board layout.
• Design and develop RF and microwave circuits and subsystems spanning VHF through Ka-band, with responsibility for technical performance, cost, and schedule.
• Perform simulation, breadboarding, testing, and troubleshooting of RF circuits, functions, and subsystems, and develop test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in peer reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, and other technical reviews.
• Follow established product development, configuration management, purchasing, and engineering processes throughout the development lifecycle.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience with RF and 3D EM Simulation and Modeling, Schematic Capture, Board Layout CAD tools
• 4+ years of experience with practical RF system considerations such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure, intercept point and power and corresponding tests for each.
• 4+ years of experience with basic RF test equipment including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
• 4+ years of experience in printed circuit board (PCB) layout with direct board level design experience in RF or Microwave bands.
• 4+ years of experience with basic Radar performance concepts.

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).
• Active RF component design.
• Radar Systems Design experience.
• Familiarity with other design and analysis software such as MatLab, AWR, CDS, HFSS, or CST
• Knowledge of practical RF system considerations such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure and intercept point
• Team work
• Strong communication skills including presentations and customer communication
• Good reprioritization skills
• Ability to work independantly

Additional Information:

• Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Up to 10% travel may be needed.
