Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Provides specialized speech-language pathology services to improve patients’ swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities. Leads the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ communication, swallowing, and cognitive functions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy techniques aimed at enhancing understanding, speech clarity, and swallowing safety.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare standards and licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Hold at least 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Possess a valid Texas state license or be licensed via compact credentials.
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency in speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapies.
- Be knowledgeable about regulations governing speech therapy services in healthcare settings.
- Exhibit strong communication and patient management skills.
