Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician Location: 5307 Hwy 70 W, Morehead City, NC 28557 Salary: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location. Schedule: Four 10‑hour shifts, Monday‑Friday. Hospital is closed on weekends, but some boarding/kennel shifts are required. Qualifications & Responsibilities NC state RVT license strongly preferred, but not required 1+ year of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary assistant or technician Understands the importance of excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills Passion for working with animals and their owners Familiarity with Cornerstone or ProVet preferred Knowledge of industry tools and equipment Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of a variety of species Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Basic understanding of common medications, vaccinations, and preventatives Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per doctor orders Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment What Makes Us Different Referral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid!
