To qualify, you need a current Texas RN license or compact license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. One year of critical care experience is preferred, but new graduates are considered. Recommended skills include advanced cardiovascular life support, hemodynamic monitoring, strong clinical judgment, and effective communication.
