As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food that meets our establishment's standards and satisfies our customers. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes according to recipes, and ensuring food safety and hygiene throughout the process. You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to support smooth kitchen operations and timely food production. Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen setting.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle kitchen tools and stand for long periods.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow directions from the Head Chef and work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal culinary training or certification.
• Experience working under a Head Chef or in a similar supervisory kitchen role.
• Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean, organized, and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen inventory, including receiving and storing supplies.
• Maintain consistent food presentation and portion control to meet customer expectations.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving kitchen equipment or supplies as needed.

The required skills such as food preparation and production are essential for daily cooking tasks, ensuring dishes are made to specification and delivered promptly.
