Residential Unit Specialist Lead Worker – 67034747 – SUNLAND – UNIT 2 Location: Marianna, FL, 32446 (Sunland) Agency: Agency for Persons with Disabilities Requisition No: 878850 Position Number: 67034747 Salary: $36,498.02 - $40,147.90 annually Position Summary The primary function of this position is to assist in the development and implementation of behavioral training programs for residents in the area of personal independence and related tasks. The role also requires documentation of program activities and progress. Responsibilities Implement personal independence training and behavioral reduction programs to assist residents in achieving goals identified in the Individual Program Plan (IPP). Provide hands‑on training to residents and supervise training procedures. Develop functional assessments and objectives for active treatment plans. Prepare written summaries of progress, addenda to IPPs, and discharge summaries in the absence of the Human Services Senior Supervisor. Ensure resident safety and adequate care during direct‑care duties, complying with policies and procedures. Maintain resident living areas and possessions in accordance with policy and procedure. Assist in maintaining required logbooks, progress notes, and other regulatory documentation. Complete required training and maintain Enhanced MANDT certification. Attend required meetings including annual IPP meetings and staff meetings. Maintain accurate timesheets and submit timely as per policy. Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of training areas, developing work orders as directed. Perform additional related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications At least one year of professional experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Willingness to obtain and maintain Enhanced MANDT certification throughout employment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of principles and techniques of self‑care program activities. Ability to lift up to forty pounds. Ability to conduct behavioral assessments. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities. Ability to develop and monitor self‑care behavioral modification treatment plans, activities, and programs. Ability to teach and apply behavior modification principles. Ability to evaluate client services for compliance with program objectives. Effective communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
