Night Cleaners - 2nd Shift

Position Night Cleaner 2nd shift (Posting Number 2627-3757) Hours Monday - Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm Location District Wide Start Date As Needed Salary Hourly wage will be determined by the current CCMA contract as well as experience Qualifications Must have knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, equipment, and the ability to use them economically and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand/follow simple oral/written directions. The right person for this position will be thorough, dependable, and in good physical condition. The ideal candidate must show initiative/imagination/willingness to perform janitorial tasks. Responsibilities Must be able to perform and be knowledgeable in the upkeep of building, furniture and fixtures such as: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, polishing halls, stairs and entries Dusting, polishing, washing furniture, walls, lavatory facilities Vacuuming carpets and furniture Securing windows and offices Operating floor care machines Securing and locking windows and office/classroom doors. Operates mechanical equipment, moves, or unloads heavy furniture and boxes. Making complete rounds of all areas of jurisdiction daily.
