# Job Opportunity – Medical ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Nashville, Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 4-week scheduling increments with self-scheduling options; minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule period; shift assignments balanced by unit management**Highlights:** - 31-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 1:1 or 3:1 based on acuity and staffing needs- Advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 monitoring systems- Exposure to advanced procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line placement, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions- Meditech electronic documentation system- Unit secretary support during day shift with occasional nurse extern assistance- Multiple positions available in a collaborative critical care environment**Requirements:** - Active RN license- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification- ICU nursing experience required- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This MICU position offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population requiring advanced critical care interventions in a well-equipped facility.
