Staff Accountant

In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations accurate, efficient, and aligned with our mission to serve patients and communities.

What You'll Do

• Support preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Coordinate and prepare bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate general ledger records for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
• Perform purchasing and accounts payable functions in partnership with the Controller
• Manage purchase order (PO) requests and maintain purchasing records
• Help develop and maintain purchasing protocols, contracts, and reorder points
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and confidentiality standards

What We're Looking For

• Education: Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
• Experience: At least one year of accounting experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets
• A detail-oriented, organized approach and commitment to accuracy
