The nurse will be required to care for observation patients, those with respiratory conditions, and general medical-surgical diagnoses. The patient population will include palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, and diabetic patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing various medical procedures and equipment, including central lines, telemetry monitoring, and wound care. They must possess skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing non-invasive airway devices. Flexibility with scheduling is essential as the role may require floating across various facilities. Nurses must complete compliance requirements prior to starting the position. All registered nurses are required to pass a pass/fail EKG exam during the onboarding process. Candidates should prepare accordingly for this requirement.
