Wegmans Curbside Pickup is a fast-growing program that is looking for customer focused team members who are passionate about servicing our customers and helping them to live healthier, better lives. As a Store Shopper, you will be responsible for utilizing the latest technology to engage with customers through an app, shopping their orders and staging them for pickup. If you are passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and giving customers the freshest and best quality products out there, this could be the role for you! What will I do? Work Environment Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, pushing a shopping cart, repetitive hand and arm movements, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, occasional to frequent bending, frequent reaching, moving and lifting, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 12 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 45 pounds occasionally. Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction). The work environment is indoors and involves seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather.
