Identity Security Architect

We are seeking a Senior Network Automation / Network Security Architect to join our dynamic team on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network automation, systems administration, CI/CD, and enterprise networking and a proven ability to design, implement, and secure scalable network solutions with automated workflows.

• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Python and shell scripts within virtual environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation across development, QA, staging, and production.
• Design and implement automation strategies for network configuration, monitoring, management, and orchestration.
• Implement and manage network orchestration tools in coordination with foundational automation teams.
• Deploy code using continuous integration and conduct testing using established frameworks, adding new cases as needed.
• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with DevOps, network engineers, and software developers to streamline operations and processes.
• Participate in team on-call rotations to support application users when required.
• Translate stakeholder network requirements into technical solutions and communicate decisions to management and teams.
• Lead architectural discussions and decisions related to network and automation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network architects and engineers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, code, and configurations.

• Proficiency in network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, and VRFs.
• Very strong Python programming skills and Linux administration experience (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Experience with Ansible and network automation practices.
• Familiarity with SDN technologies such as Arista CVP and Cisco ACI.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform.
• In-depth network security background with some architecture experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Proven experience as a network architect or senior network engineer, 7+ years.

• Advanced networking certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE.
• Arista ACE Level 5+ or Cisco DevNet S/P/E.
• Knowledge of database systems, including SQL and Nautobot.
