Data Architect
Location: Bellaire, TX
Pay Rate: Starting at $56/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and strategic Data Architect to support a leading healthcare organization in Bellaire, TX. This role is critical in driving enterprise data strategy, ensuring data integrity, and building scalable data architecture solutions that support business intelligence and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data architecture solutions across multiple systems and platforms
- Develop and enforce data governance standards, including metadata management, data definitions, naming conventions, and business rules
- Design and support data warehouse architecture, data modeling, and system integration strategies
- Establish and maintain data quality frameworks, including validation processes, audits, and data cleansing initiatives
- Analyze and resolve data quality issues (accuracy, consistency, completeness), identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business and clinical needs
- Evaluate and recommend data management tools, platforms, and infrastructure components
- Support business intelligence initiatives by ensuring high-quality, reliable data for reporting and analytics
- Participate in technical evaluations, system design discussions, and enterprise data initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or business intelligence environments
- Strong experience with relational databases (RDBMS), data modeling, and full SDLC processes
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with tools such as Qlik, Snowflake, Health Catalyst, or similar platforms
- Experience with EPIC or healthcare data systems preferred
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integration frameworks, and data governance practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
