Powder Coating TechnicianLocation: Oklahoma City, OKPosition Type: Full-Time, Evaluation-to-HireShift: Monday â€" Thursday, 7:00 AM â€" 4:45 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM â€" 11:00 AM (Half-day Fridays!)Pay: Starting at $19.00 / hour (BOE, higher for extensive experience)Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Powder Coating Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in OKC. In this role, you will prepare product surfaces, operate spray application equipment, and ensure high-quality, durable finishes on metal parts and components.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare parts for coating using washing, blasting, sanding, and masking techniques.Hang and rack parts on moving conveyor lines or stationary racks for processing.Safely operate manual and automated electrostatic powder coating spray guns.Apply smooth, even coatings to exact mil thickness specifications.Monitor curing ovens to ensure proper temperature settings and cure times.Inspect finished parts for flaws, runs, uneven coverage, or defects.Maintain spray booths, guns, and equipment through routine cleaning and maintenance.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 1+ years of industrial powder coating or liquid spray painting experience preferred.Knowledge: Familiarity with surface preparation, masking, and electrostatic spray equipment.Skills: Strong attention to detail with an eye for surface defects and finish quality.Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing shop environment.Reliability: Strong attendance record and team-oriented mindset.Benefits & PerksCompetitive starting pay with weekly paychecks.Great Schedule: Enjoy early clock-out times every Friday!Opportunity for long-term career growth and permanent placement.Comprehensive health, dental, and retirement options upon hire.
