Real Estate Paralegal

Summary For over 40 years, Dean Mead has been providing exceptional legal services to businesses and individuals across Florida. Dean Mead is seeking a full‑time Real Estate Paralegal , based out of our downtown Orlando office (named a “Coolest Workspace” by Orlando Weekly). Duties and Responsibilities Conduct title, survey, UCC, lien, and zoning searches and reviews Draft and revise purchase agreements, leases, and closing documents Manage due diligence and transaction checklists Coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and government agencies Prepare and organize closing documents and attend closings Record legal documents with appropriate agencies Create and maintain closing binders and transaction files Perform legal research related to real estate regulations and laws Track critical dates and ensure timely completion of transactional tasks Other billable and non‑billable projects and general administrative duties, as assigned by supervisors Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Duties and Responsibilities above satisfactorily and meet the requirements below. Highly detail oriented and organized. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage matters from start to finish. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal certification (Preferred). Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Paralegal in a relevant practice area (Required). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF (Required) Proficient in legal document management and timekeeping softwares (Required). Experience with iManage preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Work Environment This position reports in‑person to the Orlando office. Hybrid work arrangement considered after a successful onboarding period.
