Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Lindenhurst. This position plays a critical role in keeping our fleet and production-support equipment operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues before they become major failures.
• Troubleshoot engine performance and electronic diagnostic systems.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
• Order and manage parts inventory as needed.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns when necessary.
