Provides quality patient care including screening and evaluation, development of initial and ongoing treatment plans, discharge plan, supervision of assistants and Rehab Techs, and case management responsibilities. Maintains professional conduct and adheres to all state and federal regulations. Essential duties and responsibilities: Optimize functionality and skills of patients by providing, directing, or overseeing PT Provide consultation and clinical supervision to PTAs Directly supervise PTA and Rehab Tech during group and individual treatment, promoting efficient utilization of resources and ongoing development of clinical skills Build a strong physical therapy program Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other staff, as well as self‑study and continuing education Maintain a valid state license and awareness of profession issues and health care environment Understand relevant payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines, and provide quality care with reasonable goals and outcomes Be compliant with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocol within the facility Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports Qualifications Valid physical therapist state license Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy Proficient in clinical documentation Computer literate, basic internet navigation skills Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English #J-18808-Ljbffr Reliant Rehabilitation
