Manual Machinist

As a Manual Machinist, you will operate manual mills and lathes, utilizing fabrication equipment such as jig borers and grinders. Your role involves operating saws, undercutting saws, and handheld plasma equipment, as well as using welding and fabricating equipment to cut or weld parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual mills and lathes.
• Utilize fabrication equipment such as jig borers and grinders.
• Operate saws, undercutting saws, and handheld plasma equipment.
• Use welding and fabricating equipment to cut or weld parts.

• Proficiency in lathe and mill operations.
• Experience in manual machining, including manual lathe and mill work.

• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus.

Work Environment

Work the first shift in a clean indoor shop environment, within a fabrication setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Houma, LA.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
