Date Posted: 2026-04-21 Country: United States of America Location: US-MA-MARLBOROUGH-MA3 ~ 1001 Boston Post Rd ~ BLDG 3 Position Role Type: Onsite Position Summary A Senior Systems Engineer will join the Precision Navigation (PNav) Systems Engineering Department within the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) program to support all contracts for the ATNAVICS program, including sustainment of U.S. military and production for international contracts. The candidate will lead small teams, perform front‑end and back‑end systems engineering activities, and contribute to the development and maintenance of navigation systems. Responsibilities Define and derive systems engineering requirements, including interface definitions and requirement verification and validation. Support operations concept definition and procedure planning, collaborating with personnel from various organizations. Address customer issues by developing system and product level requirements, ensuring solutions meet their needs. Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation and perform testing. Conduct sustainment activities for legacy radar systems, including troubleshooting, documentation, and testing. Lead small system engineering efforts to develop leadership skills. Occasional travel to other locations. Qualifications You Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret). Experience with Digital Engineering Tools (DOORS, Cameo, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). Experience generating technical documentation and managing small projects. Experience generating and delivering technical documentation to stakeholders, including creating, reviewing, and updating test artifacts. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, and ability to communicate with IPT leaders, hardware and software engineers, specialty engineers, program managers, and customer representatives. Qualifications We Prefer Prior experience with IBM DOORS and JIRA. Experience supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) government contract. Experience working in small teams to achieve program cost and schedule objectives. Experience with both waterfall and Agile development processes. Radar domain experience.
