Role: Senior Project Manager Network & Infrastructure

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support complex technology initiatives within the Client of a leading global life sciences organization.

This is a remote, 6-month contract with a high probability of extension.

The role will lead multiple concurrent I&T projects with a strong focus on network and infrastructure-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Project Manager who has successfully managed projects involving network infrastructure and can comfortably work with network engineers, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.

This is not a hands-on network engineering role, but candidates should understand infrastructure concepts and technologies well enough to manage technical dependencies, risks, implementation activities, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex network, infrastructure, and I&T projects from planning through implementation and closeout.

- Manage multiple concurrent projects across scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, and business outcomes.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, business teams, and external vendors.

- Manage projects involving technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, network connectivity, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and related technical implementations.

- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resource plans, and implementation schedules.

- Lead RAID management, change control, issue resolution, escalation, and project governance.

- Coordinate technical readiness, testing, deployment/cutover planning, rollback planning, and post-implementation support.

- Manage project financials including forecasting, accruals, budget tracking, variance analysis, and reporting.

- Provide clear project health reporting to senior stakeholders, including status, risks, dependencies, decisions, financials, and required actions.

- Maintain accurate project information and reporting within tools such as Clarity and Jira.

- Lead globally distributed and highly matrixed teams while driving accountability without direct authority.

- Ensure projects follow established I&T governance, security, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years managing complex IT projects end-to-end.

- Strong experience as a Senior IT Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Infrastructure Project Manager.

- Demonstrated experience managing network and infrastructure projects.

- Familiarity with technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, network connectivity, infrastructure upgrades, or migrations.

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand infrastructure dependencies and risks; hands-on configuration experience is not required.

- Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, forecasting, accruals, and project financials.

- Strong governance, RAID management, executive communication, stakeholder management, and vendor-management experience.

- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.

- Hands-on experience with Jira and Clarity PPM strongly preferred.

- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience strongly preferred.

- Experience working in a GxP-regulated environment is highly desirable.

- PMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.

Ideal Background:

The strongest candidate will combine solid Senior Project Management experience with real exposure to network/infrastructure projects, while also bringing the governance, financial management, stakeholder leadership, and pharmaceutical/regulated-industry experience needed to operate successfully within the Plasma Innovation portfolio.
