Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a Fredericksburg, VA outpatient clinic as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and guide patients toward functional return to community activities. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers. Uphold professional standards, clinic policies, and safety practices while supporting performance improvement initiatives.


Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia PT license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum 6 months of outpatient physical therapy experience required by the client.
• Experience completing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, and documenting per clinic and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with functional goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience participating in student clinical education and providing supervised learning experiences.
• Demonstrated involvement in professional development activities and continuing education.
• Familiarity with performance improvement processes and documentation systems used in outpatient settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Scheduled days: Monday and Wednesday 10:00-19:00; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 07:00-16:00.
