Providing anesthesia for complex ENT and eye surgeries in a high-acuity setting.

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a CRNA for an ongoing locum tenens role supporting a high-volume surgical environment focused on head and neck, skull base, and eye procedures in Boston, MA. This assignment offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced perioperative teams while managing high-risk airways and unique anatomical cases, predominantly during night shifts across various schedule options.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: High-acuity surgical environment supporting ENT and eye surgeries
• Coverage: Night shifts (minimum 2 per week)
• Shifts: 12p-8a, 7a-8p, 7a-7p (preference-based)
• Scheduled Coverage: Minimum of 2 shifts per week
• Coverage Dates: Ongoing

Schedule Details

• Night shift: 19:00 – 07:00
• Minimum of 2 shifts per week
• Shifts structured as 3x8, 3x12, or 4x8 hours, based on preference

Clinical Scope

• Provide general and regional anesthesia for complex ENT and eye surgeries
• Manage high-risk airways and patients with unique anatomy
• Care for adult patients; pediatric care optional
• No blocks included in procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams and perioperative staff
• Work under medical direction in a high-acuity environment

Practice Environment
This high-acuity surgical setting specializes in head and neck, skull base, and eye procedures, utilizing Epic EMR for charting and documentation. The environment fosters collaboration with experienced surgical teams, offering optional academic or teaching opportunities for interested providers. No specific onboarding or credentialing details are provided beyond the 90-day credentialing timeframe.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible CRNA
• ACLS certification
• DEA registration
• Open to new graduates if they completed a relevant clinical rotation during training
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
