Public Safety Emergency Dispatcher

Weslaco TX

The City of Weslaco seeks a Dispatcher to receive emergency and non-emergency calls and coordinate police, fire, and EMS resources. Under general supervision, you will use radio, mobile computers, and telephones to dispatch responders following department protocols. Required are a high school diploma or GED, successful completion of a tele-communication course within 12 months, and the ability to pass pre-employment background checks and a drug screen. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
