Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population on a Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry unit with diagnoses including diabetes, post-op, wound vacs, and bariatrics
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 on a 33-bed unit with an average daily census of 28
• Utilize Epic (required) , Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks in daily practice
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Fulfill call requirements including every other weekend, holidays as needed, and relief charge responsibilities
• Adhere to holiday work expectations: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work them; if three fall within the assignment period, two are expected to be worked

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are welcome
• Proficiency with Epic is required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or onsite, and no RTO is permitted during orientation week
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medical Surgical or Remote Telemetry patient populations
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience caring for bariatric or post-operative patients
