Material Handler

Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for accurately selecting, pulling, and preparing parts for production, shipping, or customer orders. This position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and pull parts according to pick lists, work orders, or customer requests.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions for accuracy.
• Organize and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and shipping personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or order picking experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret part numbers, labels, and work orders.
• Basic math and counting skills.
